An elite educational facility providing top-notch engineering instruction and research is Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology (RSET) - Autonomous, Kakkanad, Kochi. From 2020 forward, RSET will have independent status thanks to the University Grants Commission. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technological University, located in Trivandrum, Kerala, is the parent institution of RSET (Autonomous). The All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, has given its approval to RSET.
